What if I don’t have a chimney?
Can you build me a fireplace?
Yes, we can build bespoke fireplace to house the stove, we can finish the front with brick slips or plaster and paint it. Having an in-house builder means we can take care of everything.
Do I need a gas engineer to remove my old gas fire?
No, we have our own gas engineers who can take care of everything.
Do I need to have my chimney swept before installation?
Yes, every chimney should be swept before installing a stove.
Can I have a stove in a Smoke Free Zone?
Yes, you must fit a DEFRA approved stove and burn fuel with the READY TO BURN logo. Follow this link for more information https://www.gov.uk/smoke-control-area-rules
Am I in a Smoke Free Zone?

How do I store my logs?
If you are storing your logs outside then you will need to protect it from the rain, keep it off the ground and allow air to circulatethrough it.
Do we build log stores?
Yes, we can design and build a bespoke log store for you or supply and install a premade one from our suppliers, our in house builder will take care of this for you
Will you fit a stove that we supply?
Yes, if you provide a stove, we will ask you for the list of items you have purchased to ensure it meets the current regulations. Always ask us first as we are likely to be able to buy from the supplier direct and get a small saving for you.
Do I need to notify the local authority of the installation?
No, as we are qualified HETAS installers we can self-certify the installation.
